Mat-Su Evangelical Covenant Church is:
A believer’s church where seekers are welcome
A ministry oriented church in which every member is a minister
A gifted church in which the Holy Spirit has given each member a unique gift to serve and build up the body

Mat-Su Covenant believes in the Holy Scriptures, the Old and New Testament, as the Word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct. The church believes in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Our church is lead by the Head of our church, Jesus Christ, working through a board known as the Church Council. The leadership structure is described in the Bible (1 Corinthians 12:27, Colossians 1:18) and in Article VII of our church constitution:
The general administration of the church is vested in a body known as the Church Council. The Council serves as a board of deacons supervising the spiritual life of the church as stated in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.

Affiliation: Mat-Su Covenant is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church  (ECC) and the Evangelical Covenant Church of Alaska (ECCAK) and is pledged to work in harmony with the Covenant and its decisions and to support is programs, policies, and institutions.

Covenant Youth of Alaska (CYAK) is committed to the development of youth ministry in Alaska.  They coordinate a team of youth leaders, churches & volunteers who focus on ministering to students between the ages of twelve & twenty-five.  They have an office at Mat-Su Evangelical Covenant Covenant Church.
